MERYL PRESSMAN is an Ivy League University educated accomplished fashion designer and founder of celebrity atelier Chookhare & Sons, serving NYC, Los Angeles, Washington DC, Miami, Chicago, and Toronto. She earned her experience as a costume designer at Princeton’s McCarter Theater, then costumed leads of a multitude of elite plays on Broadway including Wicked, The Lion King, Phantom of the Opera, Grease, and many more. Meryl worked with top billed celebrities, directors, and theaters as she completed studies at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. Upon graduation, Meryl advanced her career as an executive at BCBG Max Azria, then Jessica Simpson with whom she produced lines of fashion clothes. Seeing an opportunity, Meryl co-founded a custom-tailoring business that serviced individual clients with impeccable tastes including sports stars, celebrities, c-suite executives, and professional sports teams. Operations expanded across the United States and into Canada as business grew to include celebrity weddings and elite promotional events. Global developments in 2021 produced an opportunity to move in a new direction to the magical Pieniny Mountains in the heart of Europe. This incredibly rich in culture and history border village afforded Meryl access to the whole of the European Union, where Meryl now continues her fashion and design journey.
